2020 & 2021 Peregrines

During 2020 when we were all in lock-down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Peregrine pair laid four eggs. All four successfully hatched and fledged.

Update on 2 April 2024: MK (Vesper), ringed on 23 May 2020, has been observed on St Wulfram’s Church, Grantham, Lincolnshire in a fight with the resident female Peregrine. Outcome of this fight is unclear and MK has flown off.


In 2021 when Covid-19 was still prevelant and restrictions remained in place, four eggs were laid and all four successfully hatched and fledged.
