Opening hours: Monday to Saturday – 9.30am to 2.00pm
Magdalene’s Coffee Shop was remodelled and enlarged in the Spring of 2022. The servery is entirely new with modern equipment and much more space. The dining area is much enlarged and has new tables and chairs.
It’s a special place to be, where you are surrounded by the beauty of the Grade I 1508 Minster church—a tranquil place where you can escape from the busyness of life, meet people and relax.
Start your day with a selection of Mr Miles teas and premium coffee….. and a cooked-to-order scrumptious breakfast. Or, pop in for a light lunch with a good range of sandwiches, baguettes, jackets, paninis and more, freshly made on the premises. And then for anytime of day, there’s always a selection of delicious homemade cakes. Whatever you choose, you can be sure of a warm welcome!
It is managed by Mrs Sandra Hall and staffed entirely by volunteers. It is non-profit making and any money made goes back into supporting the work of the Minster. In the picture are three of our many dedicated volunteers, Sue, Jane and our manager, Sandra.
