Returning once again after their hugely successful 2024 Christmas concert, The Salamanca Band and Bugles of The Rifles will fill the scenic Taunton Minster with the unmistakable sound of regimental pride, festive cheer, and spectacular musicianship.
This year’s programme will feature a dynamic mix of regimental marches, Christmas show tunes, and much-loved carols, creating an evening that blends military tradition with the warmth and joy of the season.
We are also delighted to welcome Taunton’s Amici Choir, who will join the band with a beautiful selection of Christmas choral music, adding depth, harmony and atmosphere to the occasion.
We anticipate another hugely successful and well-attended evening, bringing together the Minster community, supporters of The Rifles, and lovers of exceptional live music.
Following the concert, everyone is warmly invited to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies.
Entry is free, though a retiring collection will be taken.
Proceeds will be shared between Taunton Minster and The Rifles Benevolent Fund, supporting both the life of the church and the regiment’s vital welfare work.

There is no tickets for the event it is turn up to the door, free entry. There will be an oppertunity to give dontions to the rifles and the church at the end.
