We are delighted to share some incredible news — thanks to the generosity and support of our community, Gift Day 2025 was a resounding success!
Your kindness has brought us within reach of our goal to complete the transformation of Minster House into a vibrant hub for young people, families, and the wider community. We are thrilled to report that we are now just £13,000 away from completing this ambitious and inspiring project.
🏡 What is the Minster House Project?
The Minster House Project is a two-phase initiative to revitalise a historic former vicarage and reimagine it as:
- A Sustainable Living Space – An eco-friendly upper floor flat with open-plan layouts and energy-efficient systems, designed to preserve the heritage of the building while offering modern accommodation.
- A Community Hub – A dedicated space supporting youth programmes and family services, in collaboration with partners like Young Somerset, Spark Somerset, and Connect Somerset.
This space will offer:
- Breakfast and after-school clubs
- Counselling services
- Social sessions for parents and toddlers
- A creche and weekly informal services for young families
- Activities for Minster choristers, youth groups, and TEKNA
It will also be a centre for mentorship, creativity, and social interaction, empowering young leaders and creating a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Because of your donations, contractor works are already well underway, with trenching and services progressing and the renovation of the first floor moving forward. Every gift, prayer, and act of support brings us closer to finishing the project by Autumn 2025.
We now just need to raise £13,000 to complete the final stage of the ground floor development while contractors are still on site.
