We have a small pastoral care team who pray for and visit people who are unwell, bereaved, struggling, housebound, or in care homes. Sometimes we do not know about a person’s circumstances, so someone may be inadvertently ‘left out’ from receiving pastoral care at a difficult time. Please don’t hesitate to contact one of the clergy or Margaret Austin if you would like to talk to someone, be prayed for, or visited at home. Likewise, if you know of someone who is experiencing a difficult time, please let us know, and we will contact them.
We are planning to offer prayer for anyone who would like it, after communion each week, in the St Andrew’s chapel. In order to do this, we need a team of pray-ers who will work confidentially in pairs, able to listen attentively to the person and Holy Spirit. If you are experienced in praying for others, or feel you may be called to pray, please speak to one of the clergy team.
