Theme: ‘The Time of Trial – in Facing our True Nature’
For the three weeks of mid-Lent, please do take the opportunity to come to the Minster for an hour on a Tuesday evening to be enriched through a series of Lent Talks.
Each week we will hear from a different speaker: For this first talk, we welcome The Right Reverend Michael Langrish. In particular, Bishop Michael was Bishop of Exeter between 2000 and 2013.
Format
Just prior to 7.00pm Miles Quick will play some reflective organ music to settle our minds (Thank you, Miles!). We’ll then begin with a prayer and scripture reading which lead into the talk. There’ll be time for a Q&A session at the end of the talk.
At 8.00pm we’ll offer some simple hospitality and a chance to talk further with the speaker and have fellowship together.
