Tue 25th Apr 2023 - 11:00am to 1:00pm
A drawing workshop led by Debbi Sutton. The workshop will take place in the chancel area of the Minster, with Luke Jerram’s Gaia as a backdrop and with a model dressed as the Green Man.
For a couple of hours, a flesh and blood Green Man will pose beside the Earth of Luke Jerram’s Gaia installation nestled in the grade 1 listed church architecture of Taunton Minster. The Green Man a symbol of rebirth representing the cycle of new growth every spring, is often found hidden within the architecture of churches.
This is a fun workshop no experience necessary. Materials will be provided.
