Please do join us for the Minster’s annual celebration of the beginning of the Advent season.
Advent—from Latin adventus, “coming”—is the period of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas and also of preparation for the Second Coming of Christ.
This atmospheric service takes us on a journey from darkness to light with procession, candlelight and a music repetoire spanning many centuries.
Stay for mulled wine and mince pies after the service!
